Ruff Ruff! My name is Davis

I have soft mostly white fur with black patches, silly black ears and lots of tiny freckles. I match everyone's home dTcor :-)..

I am a young, muscular, athletic mixed breed dog. Some people say I'm a pit bull mix, others say American Bulldog but it doesn't really matter, it's my personality that counts. I came to the shelter as a pup and spent a few months growing up in a shelter. The people are really nice but I really, really want my own family.

My interests include: taking walks, putzing around the house, play group at BARCS, learning to play with new toys, chewing on elk antlers and a Kong filled with just about anything. Did I mention I love to eat :-)?
Even though I enjoy playing with other dogs, I'm sort of nerdy in playgroup. I like everyone but some dogs don't like me. That's okay I don't take it personally. I'm looking for a home with an active person or family in a quiet neighborhood. The sounds of loud vehicles and fast moving traffic stress me out. I dream about my very own yard to run around, jump and play in. I am housetrained, crate trained and trained in basic obedience. I'll thrive in a home with structure and a routine I can count on, a bit of exercise and mental stimulation.

I'm currently living with a professional dog trainer, and thanks to volunteers, I come with FREE training and behavior support to help me make a smooth transition into my new home. Could I be the right dog for you?
