Baby's Story...
http://www.valleydogs.org/baby-malt.html -- I am Baby the Maltese. I am READY to GO! Don't let my age fool you. I am very happy and loving little girl.

Mom and dad had to give me up because they cannot afford to feed me or care for me anymore. I am in a home with other dogs and children. I LOVE people and will bond with you and follow you where ever you go.

As for dogs... Well I am a princess and as such think I am 10x my actual size. I am not aggressive but will let the other pups know I am the princess. Give it a day and we are all friends.

I am dog door trained, fixed and ready for a new home.

Baby can be noisy and an early alert system when there are strange noises or visitors. She also must be with other dogs or with a stay at home person as she is not happy when left alone - cries for a while. She is a great dog and the foster family knows her well and can discuss her in detail. So, please don't let her princess / neediness scare you off.

Wouldn’t you like to meet me? If so, please complete an adoption interest form and email mwest@valleydogs.org

Why Adoption is a Great Option

Baby, a Gilbert Maltese dog was adopted! Here's how you can benefit by looking at adoption as an option to buying a Maltese for sale in Gilbert, or seeking a Maltese dog from a breeder in Gilbert.

  1. Rescues and shelter volunteers in Gilbert already know the personality and tendencies of their pets. This means they can match you with the right pet. That will makes it much easier transition to owning a pet for yourself and your new pet.
  2. On average adoption fees are much less than you'd pay a Gilbert breeder, or pet store. Plus most often rescue pets have already been to the veterinarian for a check-up, had a round of vaccinations, and are spayed or neutered. That is a lot of savings!
  3. You will become a hero, and give a needy dog or cat a loving home. In fact, there are even Maltese breeders who help with Maltese rescue. One puppy or kitten adopted in Gilbert paves the way for another one to be saved.
