Drew's Story...
Drew is 5 years old (though you'd never guess it), Black and Tan with cropped ears and a docked tail. He had previously been adopted from us a few years back but came back to us because his owners had to get a second job and could no longer take care of him. He gets along well with teenagers but small children make him a little nervous. He would also not do well with cats or males dogs living in the home but loves female dogs that want to play. He is very affectionate with his family and loves to snuggle on the couch or go for a car ride. He also LOVES to chase a tennis ball.

Why Adoption is a Great Option

Drew, a New Richmond Doberman Pinscher dog was adopted! Here's how you can benefit by looking at adoption as an option to buying a Doberman Pinscher for sale in New Richmond, or seeking a Doberman Pinscher dog from a breeder in New Richmond.

  1. Rescues and shelter volunteers in New Richmond already know the personality and tendencies of their pets. This means they can match you with the right pet. That will makes it much easier transition to owning a pet for yourself and your new pet.
  2. On average adoption fees are much less than you'd pay a New Richmond breeder, or pet store. Plus most often rescue pets have already been to the veterinarian for a check-up, had a round of vaccinations, and are spayed or neutered. That is a lot of savings!
  3. You will become a hero, and give a needy dog or cat a loving home. In fact, there are even Doberman Pinscher breeders who help with Doberman Pinscher rescue. One puppy or kitten adopted in New Richmond paves the way for another one to be saved.
