Zoey's Story...
Woof! Hello there! I'm Zoey! I'm an adorable and fun-loving girl whose estimated birthdate is February, 2012. I was surrendered by my owner to Happily Ever After in the fall of 2012 because I loooooved to chew on things! What can I say!? I'm a puppy! Thankfully, I have not done that since arriving at HEA! While it was very sad for me to say goodbye to them, everybody at HEA tells me that I'm lovely and that I'll find a forever home in no time. I have a very kind and happy-go-lucky disposition, and will make a super-duper-snuggly addition to any home that is willing to give me the chance. Hope to meet you soon! Kisses, Zoey

Why Adoption is a Great Option

Zoey, a Marion Golden Retriever/Labrador Retriever dog was adopted! Here's how you can benefit by looking at adoption as an option to buying a Golden Retriever/Labrador Retriever for sale in Marion, or seeking a Golden Retriever/Labrador Retriever dog from a breeder in Marion.

  1. Rescues and shelter volunteers in Marion already know the personality and tendencies of their pets. This means they can match you with the right pet. That will makes it much easier transition to owning a pet for yourself and your new pet.
  2. On average adoption fees are much less than you'd pay a Marion breeder, or pet store. Plus most often rescue pets have already been to the veterinarian for a check-up, had a round of vaccinations, and are spayed or neutered. That is a lot of savings!
  3. You will become a hero, and give a needy dog or cat a loving home. In fact, there are even Golden Retriever/Labrador Retriever breeders who help with Golden Retriever/Labrador Retriever rescue. One puppy or kitten adopted in Marion paves the way for another one to be saved.
