Liberty's Story...
Liberty and her brother Hawk were rescued by a volunteer at Liberty Wildlife, hence their names.
Liberty is a dilute tortoiseshell (grey and peach) with plenty of attitude and very smart. She leads her brother into all sorts of adventures. She doesn't meet other cats, changes and people in the happiest way (hisses and sulks). Once she decides you are OK, she is sweet-natured and full of adventure. She is 4-5 months old.
Oddly enough, Liberty doesn't hiss at children that pet her. She doesn't have any children in her foster home to play with, though.

Why Adoption is a Great Option

Liberty, a Scottsdale Domestic Longhair kitten was adopted! Here's how you can benefit by looking at adoption as an option to buying a Domestic Longhair for sale in Scottsdale, or seeking a Domestic Longhair kitten from a breeder in Scottsdale.

  1. Rescues and shelter volunteers in Scottsdale already know the personality and tendencies of their pets. This means they can match you with the right pet. That will makes it much easier transition to owning a pet for yourself and your new pet.
  2. On average adoption fees are much less than you'd pay a Scottsdale breeder, or pet store. Plus most often rescue pets have already been to the veterinarian for a check-up, had a round of vaccinations, and are spayed or neutered. That is a lot of savings!
  3. You will become a hero, and give a needy dog or cat a loving home. In fact, there are even Domestic Longhair breeders who help with Domestic Longhair rescue. One puppy or kitten adopted in Scottsdale paves the way for another one to be saved.
