My story

Here's what the humans have to say about me:

Bio update 1/15/13: Zzzzzzzz......Owweeeee - my nose hurts! My FM dropped me off at this place today so they could help me breathe better. Well, I can't breathe better because my nose really hurts! They found my tooth and - are you ready for the gross stuff?? They pulled it out my nose!!!! Mom said my tooth was almost 3/4 an inch long! The really bad part is that I have lots of red stuff coming from my nose so I have to stay quiet for a while. Well, if that means I get more snuggles, I'm ok with that. Time for my nap - thanks for reading about me :)

Bio Update 1/13/13: Hi, This is Kellie - Well, I finally got to go to the dogtor because there is something that makes it so it is hard for me to breath! They took an X-ray, and guess what they found?? My tooth - I was wondering where that went..... Hmmmm. Well, I don't really want to know how they are going to go into my sinus passage to get it out, I just know that I want to be able to run and play with all the other guys around here and not worry about getting enough air. Wish me luck!! And stay tuned to hear from me as soon as they get that pesky tooth out!!

Bio Update 12/29/12: Dear Santa - its Kellie here, I only want one thing - I want a home of my very own for 2013.....oh and before that, can you please help me get my surgery - the tooth in my sinus is really bugging me.... It makes me feel like I can't breathe. Thanks for listening Santa, Love Kellie

Initial Bio 12/20/12: Hi Everybody - I'm Kellie - I just was rescued so I don't know much right now. I'm just trying to figure out all these new noises and smells!
Foster mom here: Kellie is a wonderful 3 year old little girl who was released from a breeder because she has bilateral hernias. Kellie will need a dental, spay, and hernia surgery before she can be considered for adoption. It is suspected that Kellie has a tooth that is imbedded in her sinus which will also need to come out. She has some drainage from that tooth so we are looking into a specialist who may be able to remove the tooth without causing her more pain.
Kellie is 3 pounds of pure energy wrapped up in the sweetest personality. She gets along with other dogs too! Because of her size, she will not be adopted out to any families with children under the age of 12. Thanks for understanding! Although a home for Christmas is not possible for Kellie, she hopes that she can be home in time to see the start of 2013. If you are able to help with her medical expenses, she sure appreciates it. We want her to be pain free as soon as possible.
