Holly's Story...
Little Holly was a Holmes County Puppy Mill save - she was going to be shot in the head at just 12 weeks old. I begged for a foster and someone stepped up. This is how we save lives. Holly is a beautiful Border Collie / Blue Heeler Pup - adorable. She is very smart and working on potty training. Just a BABY! She is crate trained and glad to be in a nice warm home with other dogs to play with. Holly will be spayed and up to date on all shots ASAP...all One Dog At A Time dogs come with a free training session from Karin's Kanines. Holly is very sweet and young enough to mold before that very important 16 week old mark. Holly's adoption fee is $200.

Why Adoption is a Great Option

Holly, a Avon Border Collie/Australian Cattle Dog puppy was adopted! Here's how you can benefit by looking at adoption as an option to buying a Border Collie/Australian Cattle Dog for sale in Avon, or seeking a Border Collie/Australian Cattle Dog puppy from a breeder in Avon.

  1. Rescues and shelter volunteers in Avon already know the personality and tendencies of their pets. This means they can match you with the right pet. That will makes it much easier transition to owning a pet for yourself and your new pet.
  2. On average adoption fees are much less than you'd pay a Avon breeder, or pet store. Plus most often rescue pets have already been to the veterinarian for a check-up, had a round of vaccinations, and are spayed or neutered. That is a lot of savings!
  3. You will become a hero, and give a needy dog or cat a loving home. In fact, there are even Border Collie/Australian Cattle Dog breeders who help with Border Collie/Australian Cattle Dog rescue. One puppy or kitten adopted in Avon paves the way for another one to be saved.
