Lil Grey's Story...
Lil Grey and his brothers, Bentley and Blaze were born to a feral mother on the porch of an animal lover. Talk about a streak of good luck, one can only hope they also bought Powerball tickets. In all seriousness, these 3 stooges and their mother were brought inside to safety. Now seeking their independence, the brothers are ready to find bachelor pads to call their own, but not on reality TV. Lil Grey loves to perch himself on a shoulder for a better view of his surroundings. His only quirk? An affinity for chewing on plastic bags, so be sure you store them properly once he makes himself at home. Can’t he read the warnings on them?

Why Adoption is a Great Option

Lil Grey, a Houston Domestic Shorthair cat was adopted! Here's how you can benefit by looking at adoption as an option to buying a Domestic Shorthair for sale in Houston, or seeking a Domestic Shorthair cat from a breeder in Houston.

  1. Rescues and shelter volunteers in Houston already know the personality and tendencies of their pets. This means they can match you with the right pet. That will makes it much easier transition to owning a pet for yourself and your new pet.
  2. On average adoption fees are much less than you'd pay a Houston breeder, or pet store. Plus most often rescue pets have already been to the veterinarian for a check-up, had a round of vaccinations, and are spayed or neutered. That is a lot of savings!
  3. You will become a hero, and give a needy dog or cat a loving home. In fact, there are even Domestic Shorthair breeders who help with Domestic Shorthair rescue. One puppy or kitten adopted in Houston paves the way for another one to be saved.
