Tom was set to be killed and at the final moment? A wonderful lady in California saw his plight and saved him! She had him and another kitty she named Jerry picked up by the veterinian and placed into boarding so they could get well and find the most perfect home because Tom is one amazing little kitten!
This little guy was set to die because he caught a kitten cold, that's it! Can you believe it? But now little Tom is all better and he's staying in boarding at the vet's office and everyone has fallen in love with this special little guy. But what Tom really needs? Is a loving home for the New Year.
So let's help little Tom start off 2013 just right! Do you have a great home for a little kitten? We estimate he's about 3 months old and he has the best manners and he's over his sniffies.
To adopt, we have the following rules: Tom can never go outside, he needs to be an indoor cat unless you go outside with him. Too many cats get lost or hurt when they go outside by themselves. Also we don't allow anyone to smoke inside where Tom will live - cats get a terrible disease called feline lymphoma, and smoking is the cause. I'm a nurse and I see what smoking does to people, too. We care about our cats and you - so please, don't smoke :) And lastly? We don't allow declawing. We use nail caps, scratching posts, and we train kitties to not claw furniture. There are plenty of declawed kitties out there if you don't like claws, but we found that declawing isn't a good thing - so if you want a declawed kitty? Ask! We'll help you find one.
We do require an adoption application, and to meet Tom and Jerry, you'll need to set up a time with the veterinarian, so please text me and we'll get us all set up to meet. We are an all-volunteer group of individuals who love and cherish every animal we rescue. We operate at a significant loss and seek to place each animal into the best home for the duration of their life.
Donations are always welcome and tax-deductible.
We operate by appointments, and will meet at our adoption centers in Arlington and Krum, Texas. Evening and weekend appointments are available.
We require an adoption application and a fee for all adoptions. Animals which are too young for sterilization require an additional deposit to ensure they are altered, which is refunded to you upon proof of sterilization. Animals MUST be sterilized within 60 days of adoption without exception. We prohibit declawing and won't adopt to homes with indoor smokers. Should an animal not work out for any reason, we must have the animal returned to our rescue. We reserve the right to deny an adoption to anyone.
We have cats living in loving homes from coast to coast, in nearly every state! We have traveled many hours to meet adoptive families and worked with transport groups to get cats and kittens to their new, loving, forever homes.
