Tom's Story...
Tom is another super cat who came ||<-- this close! to being put to sleep were it not for the love of a wonderful woman in California seeing him and knowing what a special cat he was! Tom was set to die for... get this! Ear mites! He has mites in his little ears, so rather than treat him? They put him on death row!

So Tom got saved and sent to a vet in Saginaw/N Ft Worth where he is a SUPERSTAR now! He is incredibly loving and such a purr box! And to think they were going to kill him for a bug in his little ears - shame!

We think Tom is just about a year old and he is bunny soft with his short, plush coat. He is fully vetted, including a microchip, and all his vaccines. His ears are *sparkling* clean now and he's ready to be YOUR loving cat - would you be Tom's forever family?

This guy is so cute and he is so affectionate. He is curious and he was obviously someone's pet - he knows all about the refrigerator - peering inside to see if we had any beer, I guess? (We don't!) And when we flush? He runs to watch the water swirl down the toilet - hilarious! This kitty is one you can probably train to use the toilet instead of the litter pan! He snuggled up and slept with us last night and likes our window sills to look outside and watch the birds hop along and pick up seed off the lawn. He's smart and such a pretty cat - and one who would be a nice addition to a house by himself or one with other pets.

We have a few rules you should know about to adopt: Tom must always be an indoor kitty, so he never gets lost or hurt. You can't have anyone who smokes inside with Tom - it's bad for him and honestly? It's bad for you, too! And finally, no declawing - ever. We have declawed kitties, and if you don't like claws? Let us find you a cat that is already declawed. Tom doesn't claw furniture, and uses the cat tower's sisal posts to sharpen his claws.

To adopt Tom it's only $100 - please text me at 940.482.0025 to make an appointment to meet this special little guy!

  2. On average adoption fees are much less than you'd pay a Denton breeder, or pet store. Plus most often rescue pets have already been to the veterinarian for a check-up, had a round of vaccinations, and are spayed or neutered. That is a lot of savings!
  3. You will become a hero, and give a needy dog or cat a loving home. In fact, there are even Domestic Shorthair breeders who help with Domestic Shorthair rescue. One puppy or kitten adopted in Denton paves the way for another one to be saved.
