Wren's Story...
Hello, my name is WREN. I am a very sweet, very beautiful, wonderful girl here at the adoption center. I was a bit thin when I arrived, but am taking care of that! I love to have a leg to rest my head on. I am a very content little girl when I have a person around that's being nice to me. I do get along good with the other dogs here so far as well. I am a little older but have plenty of time left to be your best companion. I hope to see you sometime soon!

About Our Shelter...
The Columbiana County Dog Pound is a small, rural shelter in eastern Ohio. At one time, only a small percentage of the dogs entering the Pound made it out alive. Now, thanks to the vision of the County Commissioners, the Pound staff, and a dedicated group of volunteers, the Pound has become a source of hope. It is a place where lives are saved, not lost.

Columbiana was one of the first counties in the state to require that all dogs be spayed/neutered before leaving the Pound. This policy addresses the pet overpopulation problem at its source.

Hours:
Monday - Wednesday: 9am to 12pm, 1pm to 4pm
Thursday: 9am to 12pm, 1pm to 4pm
Friday: 9am to 12pm, 1pm to 4pm
Saturday: 9am to 12pm
Sunday: Closed.

Our Adoption Process...
The adoption fee is $100, which includes a DHLPP vaccine, a rabies vaccine, de-worming, an Ohio dog license, and spay/neuter surgery. Additional low-cost vet care is available upon request.

Approved rescue groups can pull dogs at reduced fees.
