found a new home!
Plenty of my friends are looking
for one too. Find a pet to adopt.
I am already spayed, housetrained, up to date with shots, good with kids, and good with dogs.
Mom says I am sensitive, very intelligent, easily taught, quick-to-learn, well behaved and well mannered. Our new foster mom agrees, as well as many of the people who have met us at adoption events.
Currently we are in a foster home with many other dogs of various sizes. It’s a little much to get used to after having just one sister, but I get along well with all the other dogs. I am crate trained and doggie door trained. I can be a little fearful of things and situations I am not sure of, but once I know I am okay and won’t be hurt, I warm up quickly and am quite the little character and snuggle bug.
Although I was not in a home with children, I seem to do okay with them, although children over 7 may be best because of my smaller size and fear of things I’m not sure of.
I am completely de-barked. I have no voice at all, so I cannot audibly alert you if I am in trouble or if something is hurting me. Kirra has been my voice for the last several years letting our mom know when I needed something or if I was in trouble. My foster mom is working with me to learn to ring bells hanging off the door knob when I need to go outside. This is new to me, but I am trying to learn what she wants me to do so I am better able to make my needs known.
I am a wonderful little dog and will be a great addition to the lucky family who adopts me (and hopefully Kirra as well). If you would like to meet me, please contact my foster mom at firstname.lastname@example.org.
