Our Adoption Process...
It is the policy of Cat A Do Cat Co-Op that all potential cat adopters complete the Cat/Kitten Adoption Consultation Form and complete an interview with an Adoption Coordinator in order to be considered as a forever home for our cats and kittens.

Cat A Do will determine the best home for each cat or kitten based on the application and interview process. After review of the adoption consultation form and the completion of the interview with the Adoption Coordinator, Cat A Do may recommend a different cat or kitten that is more suitable to your household.

Completion of the application and interview process does not guarantee an adoption approval or guarantee the adoption of a particular cat or kitten. Cat A Do is a privately run, non-profit organization and reserves the right to refuse any adoption that is not in the best interest of the cat or kitten, based on our principles, policies, and standards.

Please read the following instructions carefully.

1. Please fill out all pages of the Adoption Consultation Form as completely as possible. The submission of a complete form will expedite the review process.

Why Adoption is a Great Option

Miles Hemingway, a Mesa Polydactyl/Hemingway cat was adopted! Here's how you can benefit by looking at adoption as an option to buying a Polydactyl/Hemingway for sale in Mesa, or seeking a Polydactyl/Hemingway cat from a breeder in Mesa.

  1. Rescues and shelter volunteers in Mesa already know the personality and tendencies of their pets. This means they can match you with the right pet. That will makes it much easier transition to owning a pet for yourself and your new pet.
  2. On average adoption fees are much less than you'd pay a Mesa breeder, or pet store. Plus most often rescue pets have already been to the veterinarian for a check-up, had a round of vaccinations, and are spayed or neutered. That is a lot of savings!
  3. You will become a hero, and give a needy dog or cat a loving home. In fact, there are even Polydactyl/Hemingway breeders who help with Polydactyl/Hemingway rescue. One puppy or kitten adopted in Mesa paves the way for another one to be saved.
