Meet Jack! Jack is a 1 year old chestnut, tan and white male beagle who is full of fun and sweetness. He is a small beagle, around 15lbs but full of love. Jack is house trained and crate trained. Jack loves to play with his pack mates and enjoys nibbling on the ears and legs of his older pack mates. Jack has a great deal of puppy in him but is learning proper dog socialization. Jack enjoys his Nylabone chews, playing with a tennis ball, leaping and running in his yard and sleeping in the sun in his donut bed. Jack was missing his eye lid on his left eye when he came into the rescue but our skilled vet team has reconstructed an eye lid for Jack. Jack is working on his leash training. Jack gets along well with other dogs and people. He is a bit of a clown and enjoys showing off. Jack is neutered, heartworm negative and up to date on all vaccines and heartworm and flea and tick preventive. If you would like to meet Jack, please email rescue@alsosbeagles.com

Rescue Group Info...
Because so many AL Beagles are placed in shelters and are sometimes euthanized, the SOS Beagle Rescue formed an AL chapter. The Alabama chapter has 7 foster homes located throughout the state, providing temporary shelter and care for approximately 10 to 20 dogs. The chapter's primary focus is to assist in re-homing Alabama beagles.
We would love to have more fosters, if you are interested in fostering, please contact us at alsosbeaglerescue@gmail.com
We are the AL chapter of SOS Beagle Rescue which is headquartered in Acton, NJ.
We have an adoption application which includes vet and personal references, homes visits if required and contracts. Our adoption fee is $160 for a fully vetted and altered adults. Alabama SOS Beagle Rescue can transport to any location so SOS encourages would be adopters to view all of the beagles available.

We try to help the Beagles who find themselves in local shelters and/or surrendered by their owners who can no longer take care of them.
