Jack Brown's Story...
Hi, I'm Jack Brown, my birthday is 10/4/04. I just turned 8yrs but my SCLRR foster Mom says I act like a 5yr old (in the good way)! I'm happy and healthy, and energetic. I look a little chubs but I actually weigh a healthy 72lbs.
My family had some issues, and lost their home. My former family was nice enough to have SCLRR take me, so I will find my forever home. Perhaps I'm just the Lab you are looking for! I'm good with kids and dogs.
My foster mom is helping me with my leash etiquette, but I'm doing very well. I sleep in a crate inside the house, I've been very good.
I just had my dental cleaning and I am ready for adoption. Families need to complete a SCLRR adoption application, and have a home check before adoptions can be completed. You can see more of me and SCLRR on SCLRR.com as well as Southern California Labrador Retriever Rescue on Facebook. I hope to hear from you and meet you soon.

Why Adoption is a Great Option

Jack Brown, a Torrance Labrador Retriever dog was adopted! Here's how you can benefit by looking at adoption as an option to buying a Labrador Retriever for sale in Torrance, or seeking a Labrador Retriever dog from a breeder in Torrance.

  1. Rescues and shelter volunteers in Torrance already know the personality and tendencies of their pets. This means they can match you with the right pet. That will makes it much easier transition to owning a pet for yourself and your new pet.
  2. On average adoption fees are much less than you'd pay a Torrance breeder, or pet store. Plus most often rescue pets have already been to the veterinarian for a check-up, had a round of vaccinations, and are spayed or neutered. That is a lot of savings!
  3. You will become a hero, and give a needy dog or cat a loving home. In fact, there are even Labrador Retriever breeders who help with Labrador Retriever rescue. One puppy or kitten adopted in Torrance paves the way for another one to be saved.
