Meet Frisky! This little Schipperke/Shepherd mix is currently in search of a forever home. Around 9 months old, Frisky had never known all of the wonderful things that life has to offer for a little dog. She had never been held or cuddled and she had no idea what it meant to play. As a result, she is timid around people, sometimes preferring to watch them from a distance. But she is starting to realize that life doesn’t have to be so scary. In fact, she has discovered that it’s actually nice to be cuddled and given treats. And she has found a new favorite activity – running and playing with her foster sisters in the backyard! Ever so slowly, Frisky is starting to come out of her shell. Now it’s time for her to take that next step – to find a forever family.

Frisky has never had a family of her own, but she knows there is one out there – just for her. Her perfect family would understand that it may take Frisky some time to become an outgoing, confident dog. But they’d be willing to love her anyway. And they would have another dog – or two – who could show Firsky the ropes and teach her to play. She thrives in the company of other dogs! Most of all, Frisky just wants to feel safe, loved, and to know that she will never be alone again. Frisky will make a perfect little companion, if someone will give her the chance.
