STUBBS's Story...
Hi my name is Stubbs! I am a 8-9 week old Chocolate Lab mix. HNH rescued me from a high kill shelter. I do have some loss of vision (which I will be seeing a specialist on Friday for). Because of my vision problems something bad happened to me out on the streets and two of my toes are missing from my front paw. This does not stop me from playing or doing anything that a normal dog can do. I love food and like to play with toys, hopefully nothing to terrible is wrong with my eyesight but will no more soon! Stubbs will be neutered prior to adoption and is being fostered in Azusa, CA. Contact Lorna at Adoption/Donation fee and home inspection required.

Why Adoption is a Great Option

STUBBS, a Torrance Labrador Retriever puppy was adopted! Here's how you can benefit by looking at adoption as an option to buying a Labrador Retriever for sale in Torrance, or seeking a Labrador Retriever puppy from a breeder in Torrance.

  1. Rescues and shelter volunteers in Torrance already know the personality and tendencies of their pets. This means they can match you with the right pet. That will makes it much easier transition to owning a pet for yourself and your new pet.
  2. On average adoption fees are much less than you'd pay a Torrance breeder, or pet store. Plus most often rescue pets have already been to the veterinarian for a check-up, had a round of vaccinations, and are spayed or neutered. That is a lot of savings!
  3. You will become a hero, and give a needy dog or cat a loving home. In fact, there are even Labrador Retriever breeders who help with Labrador Retriever rescue. One puppy or kitten adopted in Torrance paves the way for another one to be saved.
