CHRISTINE's Story...
Christine is a 2 years old Purebred Black-tri Mini aussie. Christine can become a little nervous at first with people. I think she was a breeder dog and not socialized. She have NEVER shown any signs of aggression but i would reccomend no children under the age of 10; because of her skittishness. In the past week that she has been in foster care, she is starting to come out of her shelll; but these dogs need time and patience to work with them. I think they will turn out to be wonderful companions if you have the time to spend with them,. MUST HAVE FENCED YARD >. Christine has a beautiful thick coat and weighing in at 25 lbs , with a happy deminior.. All of the minis are crate trained and love to be in their crates, which we only allow a few hours a day to get them socialized. If you would like to meet Christine or any other of the mini aussies please contact elise at 816-898-5646 or email barkindogs1@aol.com. Adoption price is $250.00 current on vaccinations, heart worm negative and spayed..

Why Adoption is a Great Option

CHRISTINE, a Overland Park Australian Shepherd dog was adopted! Here's how you can benefit by looking at adoption as an option to buying a Australian Shepherd for sale in Overland Park, or seeking a Australian Shepherd dog from a breeder in Overland Park.

  1. Rescues and shelter volunteers in Overland Park already know the personality and tendencies of their pets. This means they can match you with the right pet. That will makes it much easier transition to owning a pet for yourself and your new pet.
  2. On average adoption fees are much less than you'd pay a Overland Park breeder, or pet store. Plus most often rescue pets have already been to the veterinarian for a check-up, had a round of vaccinations, and are spayed or neutered. That is a lot of savings!
  3. You will become a hero, and give a needy dog or cat a loving home. In fact, there are even Australian Shepherd breeders who help with Australian Shepherd rescue. One puppy or kitten adopted in Overland Park paves the way for another one to be saved.
