Bear's Info...

I am already neutered, purebred, in need of an experienced adopter, up to date with shots, and not good with cats.

Bear's Story...
Bear is a 3 yro American Pit Bull Terrier. He weighs about 45 pounds. He is an athletic dog. He would be awesome with someone who loves to jog. He is strong on the leash, we have been working with him on that. He needs a home with prior pitbull knowledge. He is great with people and loves humans. He does not do well with other dogs. He hates cats. So he needs to be an only child in his new home. Bert came from a cruelty case. He was abandoned with his brother in NC. They were found tied with logging chains nearly starved to death. Both dogs had bad injuries that required immediate vet care. That is all behind him now, now he is looking for love and a forever home. Bert is very loyal to his human and very attentive. He has already learned a few commands. He mastered the “sit” command in 10 minutes flat.

Bear is neutered , current on shots, hw tested and on prevention. He will be microchipped and he will receive a certficate of health no more than 48 hrs prior to going to his new home.

We require a pre screen application and contract to adopt. You can find that on our web site at www.saveamuttkennel.info . Please read the FAQ page while you are there.

We have other transporters who can deliver to more northern homes. We have a VERY cost effective transporter.
