Ozzy is a 3 year old purebred Pomeranian. He is one of the smaller types. He weighs about 10 pounds. Ozzy will need a special home with NO children and a laid back atmosphere. He will do great with a laid back older couple or a single person. He needs someone who will have patience with him. It takes him a while to bond, but once he does he is your friend for life. He loves to be held and carried around. He has mild separation anxiety but that has improved a lot since he has been in foster. He is not destructive though, he just frets some.

Ozzy will be neutered, current on his shots, dewormed and microchipped before he goes to his new home. He will be issued a certificate of health no more than 48 hrs prior to going to his new home.

We require a pre screen application and a contract to adopt. You can get that on the web site at www.saveamuttkennel.info . Please read the FAQ page while you are there.

Transport is INCLUDED with adoption.

Why Adoption is a Great Option

Ozzy Betty's Dog, a Sherman Pomeranian dog was adopted! Here's how you can benefit by looking at adoption as an option to buying a Pomeranian for sale in Sherman, or seeking a Pomeranian dog from a breeder in Sherman.

  1. Rescues and shelter volunteers in Sherman already know the personality and tendencies of their pets. This means they can match you with the right pet. That will makes it much easier transition to owning a pet for yourself and your new pet.
  2. On average adoption fees are much less than you'd pay a Sherman breeder, or pet store. Plus most often rescue pets have already been to the veterinarian for a check-up, had a round of vaccinations, and are spayed or neutered. That is a lot of savings!
  3. You will become a hero, and give a needy dog or cat a loving home. In fact, there are even Pomeranian breeders who help with Pomeranian rescue. One puppy or kitten adopted in Sherman paves the way for another one to be saved.
