Jazlyn's Story...
This is Jazlyn. She and her brother Jed have been sponsored for 6 months by the Fitzharris family of Holland. Thanks so much Fitzharris family!!!

Meet Jazlyn! This one-year-old (born April 2012) brown tabby girl came to us with her brother, Jed, when the two were about to lose their caretaker. Since then, lovely green-eyed Jazlyn has planted herself on a shelf at the window and has become an expert batter of flies and moths! Have a spot by your window for a pretty tabby cat? Great! Fill out an application, come on in, and we'll see if Jazlyn takes the bait!

All of our kittens are spayed or neutered, tested for FeLV/FIV, vaccinated against Distemper, and treated for fleas and other parasites.

If you are interested in adopting one of our kittens, please CLICK HERE to fill out an Adoption Application. Our adoption fee is $85 for one kitten and $125 for two.

Our adoption center is located at 4600 Knapp NE 49525. Our open adoption hours are every Thursday 6-8pm and Sunday from 12-2pm. Come on out and meet the love of your life!

Monthly we will hold different adoption events and specials. Click NOW for the exciting details!

Why Adoption is a Great Option

Jazlyn, a Grand Rapids Domestic Shorthair cat was adopted! Here's how you can benefit by looking at adoption as an option to buying a Domestic Shorthair for sale in Grand Rapids, or seeking a Domestic Shorthair cat from a breeder in Grand Rapids.

  1. Rescues and shelter volunteers in Grand Rapids already know the personality and tendencies of their pets. This means they can match you with the right pet. That will makes it much easier transition to owning a pet for yourself and your new pet.
  2. On average adoption fees are much less than you'd pay a Grand Rapids breeder, or pet store. Plus most often rescue pets have already been to the veterinarian for a check-up, had a round of vaccinations, and are spayed or neutered. That is a lot of savings!
  3. You will become a hero, and give a needy dog or cat a loving home. In fact, there are even Domestic Shorthair breeders who help with Domestic Shorthair rescue. One puppy or kitten adopted in Grand Rapids paves the way for another one to be saved.
