I am already spayed, housetrained, purebred, up to date with shots, good with kids, good with dogs, and good with cats.
To adopt you must:
Be at least 21 years of age
Have the consent of all adults in the household
If you rent, have the consent of your landlord to have an indoor pet
Consent to a check of your veterinary reference as well as a home visit
TSDP does NOT adopt to outdoor only homes!

Matti is a super sweet female English Pointer or English Coonhound that was pulled from a Tennessee shelter recently. She's great with kids, dogs and cats. She loves people but approaches slowly and cautiously at first. Once she has met you though, she's highly loving and affectionate. Matti loves her outside play time and doesn't test fences. She became instant best friends with Zuzu and Curly.

We work to save the lives of unwanted pets, as well as offer reduced cost spay / neuter for the public, provide vaccination and other services to the community, some times at no charge. Our ultimate goal is to save lives.
Pet meet and greets can be arranged after an application has been approved. All pets are kept in private foster homes where they can be housebroken and start working on basic obedience. We do not have a facility with standard hours at this time.
All adopters must first complete the adoption application IN FULL. Please DO NOT leave any fields blank. If they do no apply to you, enter N/A in that space. We WILL confirm ALL information in your application and any false information given will result in an automatic denial of adoption. If approved, we will set up a home visit and if that goes well you'll be given an opportunity to adopt them pet. We are a small group of local rescuers that save animals from euthanasia in shelters that are trying to become a no kill facility. We feel that by supporting the shelters that want to do the right thing, we are encouraging them to help save as many as they can!
