Jinx's Story...
Wow! What a sweet dog this is! She has been temporarily placed with Timber Ridge Dog Training Center and will receive 10 weeks of training! At the end of that time, she will adopted out to a qualified home! (MARCH) Jinx was found at a local Casino, where it appears she was dumped. Her breeding is a big mystery, but she certainly could be Border collie and lab, along with other things. Pitbull? Not likely. She has short hair, but not slick like a boxer or pit. She even has the tiniest trace of feathering on her tail. She is friendly, good with the kids, good with the cat, and with other dogs after proper introductions. Jinx would make a great addition to a family or perfect company for a young active person. She will fetch, play tug of war and sleep with her toys! Cute factor=10!!

Why Adoption is a Great Option

Jinx, a Chewelah Border Collie/Labrador Retriever dog was adopted! Here's how you can benefit by looking at adoption as an option to buying a Border Collie/Labrador Retriever for sale in Chewelah, or seeking a Border Collie/Labrador Retriever dog from a breeder in Chewelah.

  1. Rescues and shelter volunteers in Chewelah already know the personality and tendencies of their pets. This means they can match you with the right pet. That will makes it much easier transition to owning a pet for yourself and your new pet.
  2. On average adoption fees are much less than you'd pay a Chewelah breeder, or pet store. Plus most often rescue pets have already been to the veterinarian for a check-up, had a round of vaccinations, and are spayed or neutered. That is a lot of savings!
  3. You will become a hero, and give a needy dog or cat a loving home. In fact, there are even Border Collie/Labrador Retriever breeders who help with Border Collie/Labrador Retriever rescue. One puppy or kitten adopted in Chewelah paves the way for another one to be saved.
