Ruff Ruff! My name is Buck

Buck is a young, male, pure-bred German Short-haired Pointer in desperate need of a new home fast. His owner is age 80 and Buck has become too much for this elderly man to handle. Buck was born around April 2011. He should flourish in a home whereby an average dog’s need for attention and exercise can be met, unlike his current home situation. Buck walks fine on a leash but still pulls. This can be easily remedied with use of a prong (pinch) collar. Using a pinch collar is wise as it also preserves the dog’s neck and spine, while preventing the dog from pulling. Buck has been socialized with other dogs and he is fine with other dogs. He is not best suited in a home with a cat. He is people-oriented and very friendly to children.

Buck is neutered and weighs about 60 pounds. He is fully vaccinated and documentation can be provided. He is a very happy dog that just needs more room to romp and play. He is full of energy, and comes when he is called. He is crate-trained, and has had obedience training though he can benefit from a refresher.
