Presley's Story...
Handsome, mellow, and loving PRESLEY came to our shelter when his owners moved away and could not bring him along. Presley and his owners were heartbroken when they had to separate, and now Presley needs to find a new forever home. Presley is a three-year-old Golden Retriever/ Boxer mix who loves people and wants nothing more than to snuggle up close to his owner. Presley enjoys going for easy walks, and he loves to get a good scratch behind his soft, floppy ears. Presley prefers a laid-back lifestyle, so he'd do best in an adult home. Presley is very intelligent, and he knows several commands. Please come to the El Cajon Animal Shelter and meet this wonderful dog. Our helpful shelter staff will be happy to take Presley out to our lovely play yard so that the two of you can get better acquainted. Presley will be waiting for you in kennel #6.

Why Adoption is a Great Option

Presley, a El Cajon Golden Retriever/Boxer dog was adopted! Here's how you can benefit by looking at adoption as an option to buying a Golden Retriever/Boxer for sale in El Cajon, or seeking a Golden Retriever/Boxer dog from a breeder in El Cajon.

  1. Rescues and shelter volunteers in El Cajon already know the personality and tendencies of their pets. This means they can match you with the right pet. That will makes it much easier transition to owning a pet for yourself and your new pet.
  2. On average adoption fees are much less than you'd pay a El Cajon breeder, or pet store. Plus most often rescue pets have already been to the veterinarian for a check-up, had a round of vaccinations, and are spayed or neutered. That is a lot of savings!
  3. You will become a hero, and give a needy dog or cat a loving home. In fact, there are even Golden Retriever/Boxer breeders who help with Golden Retriever/Boxer rescue. One puppy or kitten adopted in El Cajon paves the way for another one to be saved.
