Meow! My name is Smush

This old boy is about 10 years old.  He was a long-time resident of a better apartment complex in Long Beach.  They changed property managers and the new manager told security to get rid of the cats.  Our best guess is that someone either kicked or hit Smush with something.  I was called by a former property manager who was distressed over what happened and begged for help.  When I got Smush, he could barely walk and it was obvious he was in bad shape.  Off to the vet to find out he had a broken hip and upper leg.  The vet did the best he could patching Smush up and after a lengthily recuperation, Smush now gets around surprisingly well.  The old boy is a real love.  Follows me around just like a puppy. He looks up right into my eyes and touches my heart every time I see him. He has a good appetite and seems to be in decent health.  He gets along great with my other cats.  They seem to sense his condition and all of them have make way for him whenever he walks around.  I would do anything to find this guy a great home.  It will take a real hero with a big heart but I know that person is out there somewhere.
