Buffy is a 2 year old little Pittie who is beautiful with a sweet disposition. She has hazel eyes, a red nose, is buff colored, weighs a demure 40 lbs. She has good house training skills,, is crate trained, is eager to please, adores playing and affection. She would be best suited to an active family that has older kids, a fenced yard, someone to jog with to exert her abundance of energy. She loves to go for walks of 30 minutes or more a couple of times a day. Buffy came without leash skills, but she is highly intelligent and has gone to being pretty good on leash and is getting better all the time. She knows how to sit, but doesn't always do it immediately. As soon as you say "outside" she's there to jump up by where her leash is hung. Buffy enjoys belly rubs, having her face and ears washed in the morning or at night. She like to be brushed and she doesn't mind a bath, but dislikes the hair dryer. She likes to have dog-safe things to chew but she does not chew on furniture. She once got one of my flip flops but I took it from her and diverted her attention to an appropriate toy. She came to rescue rather skinny but has gained 4 pounds and is looking good now. Buffy is a self feeder and usually eats 2x per day. Buffy would benefit from some type of obedience training and would be a great agility dog. She is a high jumper and quick. Buffy sleeps in a crate at night. Please give Buffy a chance to win your heart. She will show you that with a little love, patience, and time, she will be the best dog ever!!! Buffy is spayed, up to date on all shots, is heartworm negative, on heartworm/flea preventative, microchipped and has had a fresh mani-pedi! Buffy's adoption fee is $150 with all vet work done.
