Ellie's Story...
Ellie is a super sweet petite Chihuahua mama who is finally done having puppies. She was turned into the shelter pregnant and she and her puppies were rescued. Puppies are now grown and will be available for adoption, but now its time for Mama Ellie to shine and find a home where she can be loved and appreciated for herself.

She is a love! Her foster family is amazed at how quickly she settled in with their dogs and how affectionate and cuddly she is. Ellie is housebroken and does great with other dogs. She is ready for her forever home now that she is free from the burden of motherhood and never has to do that again!

Can she be your little black furry angel?

Why Adoption is a Great Option

Ellie, a Vista Chihuahua dog was adopted! Here's how you can benefit by looking at adoption as an option to buying a Chihuahua for sale in Vista, or seeking a Chihuahua dog from a breeder in Vista.

  1. Rescues and shelter volunteers in Vista already know the personality and tendencies of their pets. This means they can match you with the right pet. That will makes it much easier transition to owning a pet for yourself and your new pet.
  2. On average adoption fees are much less than you'd pay a Vista breeder, or pet store. Plus most often rescue pets have already been to the veterinarian for a check-up, had a round of vaccinations, and are spayed or neutered. That is a lot of savings!
  3. You will become a hero, and give a needy dog or cat a loving home. In fact, there are even Chihuahua breeders who help with Chihuahua rescue. One puppy or kitten adopted in Vista paves the way for another one to be saved.
