I am already spayed, housetrained, purebred, up to date with shots, good with kids, and good with dogs.

Glory's Story...
Glory is a beautiful, kind, gentle and loving girl. She is about 3-4 years old and weighs a mere 91 lbs. Glory had severe entropian on both her upper and lower lids when we rescued her. We had that corrected, but with years of her eye lids rubbing on her eyes, she does have some vision problems. However, there are no other health issues, she is healthy and happy. Glory is house trained, leash trained, gets along great with other dogs, loves people and is good around horses. If you are interested in this gorgeous girl, contact us at

About Rookie's Rescue -

About Our Rescue Group...

Rookie's Rescue was founded in memory of my beloved companion, Rookie.

Rookie's Rescue is a virtual shelter, meaning all of our pets live in loving foster homes, not a facility/shelter environment. The pets listed on this site live in a foster home located in TN, VA, NY or PA.

Rookie's Rescue is committed to helping abandoned, neglected and abused pets finding loving homes and
educating the public about responsible pet ownership with a strong emphasis on spaying and neutering.

Rookie' Rescue saves pets from over crowded shelters and animal control facilities, who due to lack of space and overwhelming volume are forced to euthanize thousands of healthy, adoptable pets each year. We will also accept pets from owners who can no longer care for their pet. When the animal enters our program, they undergo a complete health check from a local vet to make sure the pet is healthy. The pet is treated for any medical needs, is brought up to date on all vaccinations and is spayed or neutered. The pet is then socialized and assessed by our behaviorist. When the animal has been determined healthy and socialized, it is placed for adoption.

Come Meet Our Pets...

Because we are a "virtual" shelter, there is no facility for you to visit all available pets. The pets in our program live is private foster homes.
Our foster homes are located in NY, NH, PA, VA and TN so the pet you are interested in adopting may or may not be in your area. The first step in the process is to contact us via email at and let us know which pet you are asking about. We will then send you an appliacation and further detail about the process
