Here's what the humans have to say about me:
Surlynn
Female Blue Point Siamese
Date of Birth July 2012
Tyekee
Male Chocolate Point Siamese
Date of Birth July 2012
Surlynn and her brother Tyekee are a beautiful pair of kittens--Tyekee is the chocolate point, Surlynn the blue point--about 6 months old. Just look at those precious little faces! They arrived at the shelter together, probably as siblings, and were too shy to pass the shelter behavior evaluation. Therefore, they could not be made available for adoption. The shelter was very full, and these two were in danger unless a rescue would take them. Fortunately, the shelter contacted us, and a foster mom who loves the Siamese breed knew she had to step up and help. She picked them up the day after Thanksgiving and has been so thankful for taking them.
Socialization of shy kittens demands patience but is very rewarding. Tyekee and Surlynn's foster mom has been working with them now for about a month and has slowly, slowly won their trust. Surlynn was especially shy but now hangs out in the foster home and will interact and play. Better yet, both babies now purr when they are held.
These two are a very bonded pair. You'll find them endlessly entertaining as they wrestle, romp, and play together. They need to go to a quiet home where loving adopters will give them time to adapt to their surroundings and to build trust. No small children, no dogs, just a gentle human or two to help them feel safe. We will offer a special adoption fee to the perfect family.
Tyekee and Surlynn are altered, vaccinated, and tested negative for FeLV and FIV. They are litterbox perfect.
They are fostered in Davis.
