Amos's Story...
This handsome little man is Amos, a 2 year old beagle mix that came to us from TN in search of a great home to call his own. Amos is just a great little guy....gets along with everyone including dogs and cats, and just loves life. He has made so many new friends since coming to stay with us and is loving his daily walks and playtime in our exercise yard. Amos is very well behaved and walks nicely on a leash, and he loves to run and check everything out when he's off leash. Amos is very gentle and plays well with others, and he would make a wonderful addition to any family that promises to love and care for him. Please make our little guy's dreams come true and give Amos the great home that he's hoping for! 12/15/12 File#22144

Why Adoption is a Great Option

Amos, a Forked River Beagle dog was adopted! Here's how you can benefit by looking at adoption as an option to buying a Beagle for sale in Forked River, or seeking a Beagle dog from a breeder in Forked River.

  1. Rescues and shelter volunteers in Forked River already know the personality and tendencies of their pets. This means they can match you with the right pet. That will makes it much easier transition to owning a pet for yourself and your new pet.
  2. On average adoption fees are much less than you'd pay a Forked River breeder, or pet store. Plus most often rescue pets have already been to the veterinarian for a check-up, had a round of vaccinations, and are spayed or neutered. That is a lot of savings!
  3. You will become a hero, and give a needy dog or cat a loving home. In fact, there are even Beagle breeders who help with Beagle rescue. One puppy or kitten adopted in Forked River paves the way for another one to be saved.
