I am .
I was a stray who lived outside for many years, raising kittens in a neighborhood where people were not at all nice to me and my babies. Finally, some neighbors helped rescue my family. All the kittens found safe homes. I was spayed so I wouldn't have to worry about looking out for any more kittens. My grown-up kitten Buddy and I went to live in a foster home.
Since I wasn't used to living in a house with people around, that was pretty scary for me at first. Now I have learned that it's not so bad after all. I still don't want the people here to touch me or to get too close, but I sure appreciate all that they do for me. I love sleeping on the warm radiators or dozing in the sun on the couch. I play with Buddy and the other kitties here. I want to live in a warm, safe home forever.
Buddy has grown into a big, sweet guy. Although he is shy at first, he can't get enough attention once he warms up to you. He loves to snuggle with our foster caretakers. If you have room in your home for a pair of cats-- one that loves attention and one that doesn't mind being ignored (that's me)-- call Molly for more information about us: 651-295-3758.
NOTE: In the interest of serving as many cats as possible, Feline Rescue occasionally promotes cats being taken care of by our friends and supporters. The cat(s) in this posting are NOT Feline Rescue cats and any adoption that may occur is an arrangement strictly between two independent parties.

By adopting a Feline Rescue cat you will be supporting a caring, no-kill shelter and making room for one more homeless cat. We are always looking for good, safe, loving homes for our many cats and kittens. We want to be sure placements are a success for both parties, so before we send our feline friends home with anyone, we ask you to fill out a basic questionnaire. Since we work with cats everyday we will be able to suggest a perfect match to your needs. If a sponsorship fits your schedule better, you may support a cat of your choice and we will send you pictures and updates. All of our cats are feline leukemia/FIV tested, fecal tested, neutered/spayed, vaccinated and all of our kittens are vet checked, fecal checked and given their first set of shots. All receive high-quality veterinary care and exams. We charge an adoption fee to offset these costs. Adoption Hours: We are open seven days a week for adoptions, but our hours do vary because we are staffed entirely by volunteers. Call (651) 642-5900 for specific times and more information.
