Tiny's Story...
Why Choose me?
Believe it or not, this little fella was found as a stray. Before his foray into the wild he clearly spent his short life wrapped comfort with humans, because that’s where he wants to be – snuggled in close. Since he’s too little to be in a regular run, he was put into a kennel in the “sick bay” next to the office. After just a few minutes he made it loud and clear that this living arrangement would not do! So now he has a little pen in the office where he is near the staff and gets lots of hugs and pets from visitors. When you hold him all he wants to do is burrow into your neck and stay there. And he’ll probably be small enough to do that his whole life!

Why Adoption is a Great Option

Tiny, a Athens Dachshund/Terrier (Unknown Type, Small) puppy was adopted! Here's how you can benefit by looking at adoption as an option to buying a Dachshund/Terrier (Unknown Type, Small) for sale in Athens, or seeking a Dachshund/Terrier (Unknown Type, Small) puppy from a breeder in Athens.

  1. Rescues and shelter volunteers in Athens already know the personality and tendencies of their pets. This means they can match you with the right pet. That will makes it much easier transition to owning a pet for yourself and your new pet.
  2. On average adoption fees are much less than you'd pay a Athens breeder, or pet store. Plus most often rescue pets have already been to the veterinarian for a check-up, had a round of vaccinations, and are spayed or neutered. That is a lot of savings!
  3. You will become a hero, and give a needy dog or cat a loving home. In fact, there are even Dachshund/Terrier (Unknown Type, Small) breeders who help with Dachshund/Terrier (Unknown Type, Small) rescue. One puppy or kitten adopted in Athens paves the way for another one to be saved.
