Bailey's Story...

Bailey is a very friendly and beautiful 2.5 year old Blue Weimaraner. She has a lot of energy and loves to play and let you rub her belly. However, if you just want to sit on the couch and watch tv and read she will be happy to lay right by you and snuggle up. She knows basic commands like come, fetch, and sit. Her foster can tell she is very smart and will learn new things very soon. She is still learning not to jump on you when you get home from work, but she is just so excited to see you. She is still learning not to pull on her leash, but with a little time will make a great dog for both walkers and runners. While she does not get along with other small dogs or cast she has been very friendly to everyone she has met. She would be better as a only dog. St. Louis Missouri

Why Adoption is a Great Option

Bailey, a St. Louis Weimaraner dog was adopted! Here's how you can benefit by looking at adoption as an option to buying a Weimaraner for sale in St. Louis, or seeking a Weimaraner dog from a breeder in St. Louis.

  1. Rescues and shelter volunteers in St. Louis already know the personality and tendencies of their pets. This means they can match you with the right pet. That will makes it much easier transition to owning a pet for yourself and your new pet.
  2. On average adoption fees are much less than you'd pay a St. Louis breeder, or pet store. Plus most often rescue pets have already been to the veterinarian for a check-up, had a round of vaccinations, and are spayed or neutered. That is a lot of savings!
  3. You will become a hero, and give a needy dog or cat a loving home. In fact, there are even Weimaraner breeders who help with Weimaraner rescue. One puppy or kitten adopted in St. Louis paves the way for another one to be saved.
