Zooey's Story...
This cutie pie was rescued from the streets of Davie, FL during a TNR (Trap Neuter Release) project. She is so sweet and needs to find a home that will give her constant love and affection. Zooey loves to talk and will let you know she is around. She has a calm disposition yet she is playful just as any other kitten :)

Please contact Julia at 954-873-9905 or animaladvocacyandrescue@gmail.com for more information. Thank you. We are asking for $85.00 as a donation fee which covers the cost of the exam, spay/neuter, testing, vaccinations, dewormer, revolution dose, microchip and rabies shot. 100% of donations will go towards the rescue and advocacy of stray and adoptable animals.

Why Adoption is a Great Option

Zooey, a Sunrise Domestic Shorthair kitten was adopted! Here's how you can benefit by looking at adoption as an option to buying a Domestic Shorthair for sale in Sunrise, or seeking a Domestic Shorthair kitten from a breeder in Sunrise.

  1. Rescues and shelter volunteers in Sunrise already know the personality and tendencies of their pets. This means they can match you with the right pet. That will makes it much easier transition to owning a pet for yourself and your new pet.
  2. On average adoption fees are much less than you'd pay a Sunrise breeder, or pet store. Plus most often rescue pets have already been to the veterinarian for a check-up, had a round of vaccinations, and are spayed or neutered. That is a lot of savings!
  3. You will become a hero, and give a needy dog or cat a loving home. In fact, there are even Domestic Shorthair breeders who help with Domestic Shorthair rescue. One puppy or kitten adopted in Sunrise paves the way for another one to be saved.
