About WV Pet, Inc.

About Our Rescue Group...

WV Pet, Inc. started in February 2012 and we pulls pets from high kill shelters in WV. Once they are pulled we quarintine and vet them before placing them into foster homes.

Our Adoption Process...

Our adoption fee is $150.00 - $200.00 and pets are fully vetted before being adopted if age appropriate. If not age appropriate for spay/neuter adopter will be responsible for having this done before the age of 6-7 months.
Once an application is filled out we will contact potential adopters to do an interview.
We will then contact vet references and personal references.
We will then meet with the board of directors to discuss all the applications and make the decision as to which family will best fit the pets needs.
Please consider more than one pet if wanting to adopt there are many families that are approved for adoption but might not be the best fit for the pets needs and we would have a pet that is more compatible to their lifestyle.
