Champ's Story...
Champ is our little miracle boy. He was rescued on 9/11/12 when he was about an hour old. His momma was a feral that has now been spayed and released. Due to severe inbreeding in the colony, Champ's 4 siblings didn't make it, but our little Champ did!! He is an absolute lovebug and loves to play. He loves dogs and other kitties, especially his foster sister Piccolo, a special needs kitten. If you'd like to meet Champ please contact his foster mom at lexie@happystrays.org and let her know which petco you'd like to meet Champ at!

We show our kitties at PetCos in Santa Clarita and La Canada. Please let us know which petco you'd like to meet Champ at so that we can make sure he is at the right place!

Why Adoption is a Great Option

Champ, a La Canada Flintridge Domestic Shorthair kitten was adopted! Here's how you can benefit by looking at adoption as an option to buying a Domestic Shorthair for sale in La Canada Flintridge, or seeking a Domestic Shorthair kitten from a breeder in La Canada Flintridge.

  1. Rescues and shelter volunteers in La Canada Flintridge already know the personality and tendencies of their pets. This means they can match you with the right pet. That will makes it much easier transition to owning a pet for yourself and your new pet.
  2. On average adoption fees are much less than you'd pay a La Canada Flintridge breeder, or pet store. Plus most often rescue pets have already been to the veterinarian for a check-up, had a round of vaccinations, and are spayed or neutered. That is a lot of savings!
  3. You will become a hero, and give a needy dog or cat a loving home. In fact, there are even Domestic Shorthair breeders who help with Domestic Shorthair rescue. One puppy or kitten adopted in La Canada Flintridge paves the way for another one to be saved.
