JACKMON-Courtesy Posting's Story...
If you are looking for a handsome man in your life, then Jackmon is the guy. He is a dog that is currently living with his owner but he is having to be surrendered due to health issues on the part of his owner. Jackmon is a male, Staffordshire terrier/Lab mix. He is approximately 2 years old and is at his adult size and weight of 45 - 50 lbs. You won't find a more kind hearted dog who just loves everyone he comes in contact with. He is still living at home, but we are trying to get him used to being away from his owner. He comes out to our shelter and makes the rounds with the volunteers. He never meets a stranger and is just a very affectionate baby. He has been neutered, has completed all his vaccines, and has been fully heart worm treated. He would just need monthly heart worm preventatives going forward. He is great with any of the dogs he comes in contact with large and small. He is cat friendly. Jackmon is a great companion dog for his current owner, but he is still young enough to be a good fit for an active family as well. He is very smart and catches on quickly to any changes in his routine and adjusts quickly. He is just a sweet guy who is looking for someone else who will take care of him and give him a new forever home. If you are interested in this wonderful dog, contact Kathy at kathydavisday@gmail.com. His adoption fee of $250 would include the transport fee as well.

Why Adoption is a Great Option

JACKMON-Courtesy Posting, a Glastonbury Labrador Retriever/American Pit Bull Terrier dog was adopted! Here's how you can benefit by looking at adoption as an option to buying a Labrador Retriever/American Pit Bull Terrier for sale in Glastonbury, or seeking a Labrador Retriever/American Pit Bull Terrier dog from a breeder in Glastonbury.

  1. Rescues and shelter volunteers in Glastonbury already know the personality and tendencies of their pets. This means they can match you with the right pet. That will makes it much easier transition to owning a pet for yourself and your new pet.
  2. On average adoption fees are much less than you'd pay a Glastonbury breeder, or pet store. Plus most often rescue pets have already been to the veterinarian for a check-up, had a round of vaccinations, and are spayed or neutered. That is a lot of savings!
  3. You will become a hero, and give a needy dog or cat a loving home. In fact, there are even Labrador Retriever/American Pit Bull Terrier breeders who help with Labrador Retriever/American Pit Bull Terrier rescue. One puppy or kitten adopted in Glastonbury paves the way for another one to be saved.
