Dahlia CP's Story...
This is Dahlia, or Dolly, she is about two and a half years old. She has a very sweet and loving temperament and only wants to please her owner. She listens very well to commands and knows a few tricks like sit, wait, shake, and lie down. When she was younger she was attacked by my mom's french bulldog and does have the scars on her front legs from this and soon after experienced aggression towards the rest of my mom's dogs, understandably. She is territorial of her home and her person but has yet to show any people aggression and should be watched with new people/strangers. Her absolute favorite thing to do is cuddle up with you with your arm over her; she just adores any affection and gives plenty of sloppy kisses. She is in great physical condition, very powerful and muscular but small bodied. She is spayed and up to date on her vaccinations. She needs a home where she can be the one and only pet, getting showered with all of your love and affection. No kids, cats, or dogs- All she needs is her person! Thank you,
Kate Sosinski

Why Adoption is a Great Option

Dahlia CP, a Dayton American Pit Bull Terrier dog was adopted! Here's how you can benefit by looking at adoption as an option to buying a American Pit Bull Terrier for sale in Dayton, or seeking a American Pit Bull Terrier dog from a breeder in Dayton.

  1. Rescues and shelter volunteers in Dayton already know the personality and tendencies of their pets. This means they can match you with the right pet. That will makes it much easier transition to owning a pet for yourself and your new pet.
  2. On average adoption fees are much less than you'd pay a Dayton breeder, or pet store. Plus most often rescue pets have already been to the veterinarian for a check-up, had a round of vaccinations, and are spayed or neutered. That is a lot of savings!
  3. You will become a hero, and give a needy dog or cat a loving home. In fact, there are even American Pit Bull Terrier breeders who help with American Pit Bull Terrier rescue. One puppy or kitten adopted in Dayton paves the way for another one to be saved.
