Are you looking for a puppy?

Meet Danny! He just finished his heartworm treatment and is now available for adoption!

Danny is a one year old, 34 pound, tri-colored Beagle boy who has enough love and play for the whole family. Danny is very gentle around kids, but very playful around other dogs. Danny loves to cuddle, be part of the family and is a semi-couch potato.

Danny is house trained, loves dogs, cats and kids. Unfortunately, Danny cannot be crated due to a bad past experience.

Danny’s forever home wishes include:

1. Either a family with kids, but no other dogs

Or

2. A family with dogs but no small children.

Danny loves to run and play outside, so a fenced yard would be nice. However, if one is a not available, then good walk and a weekly visit or two to the dog park.

No crates please. A gated off room would work fine.

This is one of the sweetest dogs I’ve met and had the privilege to foster. He’s absolutely adorable and loves to sit close and snuggle. He minds well and just loves to hang with me when I’m in the kitchen, the living room or sewing. He’s a darling dog and would be a nice addition to any home.

If you would like to meet Danny, we generally attend the Petsmart Adoption Event in Rockford, Illinois on the third Sunday of each month.
