Pepper's Story...
Pepper is a 5 year pit bull terrier mix who came to us from another shelter where her time was up. She has been in foster care for the 2 years living with other dogs and older children. When Pepper first arrived in her foster home she was certain of how to fit in. With time she has proved to be a very loyal companion. Pepper is very intelligent and athletic. She would make a great running or hiking companion for someone. She does not care for the feline type so much so would do best in a home without cats. She is crate trained, spayed, microchipped, and up to date on her vaccinations. This girl has been waiting a very long time to find that perfect fit...we just know it is out there!

Why Adoption is a Great Option

Pepper, a Muskegon American Pit Bull Terrier dog was adopted! Here's how you can benefit by looking at adoption as an option to buying a American Pit Bull Terrier for sale in Muskegon, or seeking a American Pit Bull Terrier dog from a breeder in Muskegon.

  1. Rescues and shelter volunteers in Muskegon already know the personality and tendencies of their pets. This means they can match you with the right pet. That will makes it much easier transition to owning a pet for yourself and your new pet.
  2. On average adoption fees are much less than you'd pay a Muskegon breeder, or pet store. Plus most often rescue pets have already been to the veterinarian for a check-up, had a round of vaccinations, and are spayed or neutered. That is a lot of savings!
  3. You will become a hero, and give a needy dog or cat a loving home. In fact, there are even American Pit Bull Terrier breeders who help with American Pit Bull Terrier rescue. One puppy or kitten adopted in Muskegon paves the way for another one to be saved.
