Flora's Story...
Flora is a cute and playful kitty- she is just over two years old but tiny like a kitten, only around 5 pounds! The tip of her tail is crooked, like a question mark, which makes her even cuter. Flora may have a tiny body, but it hides a big motor- the power switch is behind her ears- she loves to be petted and sometimes will purr when you even look at her, hoping you'll pet her soon. Fora's favourite activity is hunting bugs, and she shows them no mercy! She is an easy going, independant cat that can be left alone when needed, but also appreciated any attention you can give her.

Her previous owners stated that Flora got on great with their young kids, and she likes being around other cats in her foster home and a hyper puppy too.

Why Adoption is a Great Option

Flora, a Bentonville Domestic Shorthair cat was adopted! Here's how you can benefit by looking at adoption as an option to buying a Domestic Shorthair for sale in Bentonville, or seeking a Domestic Shorthair cat from a breeder in Bentonville.

  1. Rescues and shelter volunteers in Bentonville already know the personality and tendencies of their pets. This means they can match you with the right pet. That will makes it much easier transition to owning a pet for yourself and your new pet.
  2. On average adoption fees are much less than you'd pay a Bentonville breeder, or pet store. Plus most often rescue pets have already been to the veterinarian for a check-up, had a round of vaccinations, and are spayed or neutered. That is a lot of savings!
  3. You will become a hero, and give a needy dog or cat a loving home. In fact, there are even Domestic Shorthair breeders who help with Domestic Shorthair rescue. One puppy or kitten adopted in Bentonville paves the way for another one to be saved.
