RILEY-ROO is the most PERFECT FAMILY DOG!!
This GORGEOUS gal is one "chill" dog! Riley just wants to "hang out" and lounge around the house. What a great, relaxed, easy going dog. She will make an AWESOME addition to any low-energy and laid back family. When she is tired, she puts herself to bed in her kennel all on her own. Riley loves her crate, her bones, toys, stuffed animals and of course her humans! Riley is, however, dog selective----she is much more a "people" dog than a dog's dog. She will need to be the only pet in the home. Absolutely NO CATS.
Riley also loves to help with office work. She sits right at your feet while you are on the computer, filling out papers, anything work related, she is a little supervisor!
Riley was rescued from a very scary Phoenix neighborhood. She was fending for herself in a dangerous area for about a month before being saved. However, she is so well behaved we think that at some point, she did enjoy a good home and lots of love.
Riley loves to go on short walks, cuddle with her humans, get petted, and SLEEP! Riley would sleep all day and night if you let her! But she does occasionally get spurts of energy where she wants to just be chased, romp and roll~ She's quite the character when she decides to be silly, chase you and zip around in circles!
Riley does not like to be outside by herself. When you want to play with her, she will... but she would rather be lounging on a cushion with stuffed friends (or you!) snuggling with her!
Riley is already spayed and up to date on her vaccinations.

Underdog Rescue of Az is an all volunteer organization dedicated to the rescuing and re-homing of abandoned and/or abused dogs.
We are a foster-based rescue, and do not maintain a physical base of operations. All of our animals are placed with loving, caring safe foster families until they are adopted. We are also an "All Breed" rescue, and do not discriminate based on breed, age, size, etc.
Underdog's mission also includes educating the public on the issue of animal welfare. We strive to promote shelter reform, spay and neuter education and emergency rescue information & assistance.
We attend multiple adoption events throughout the valley during Spring and Fall.
If you are interested in a specific pet, please complete our adoption application found on our website and we can then coordinate a meet and greet.
All potential adopters will be required to complete our Adoption Application, read and sign our Adopting Policies and Procedures, and participate in a home visit by one of our adoption representatives. Our Adoption Application is located on our website.
Underdog's Adoption Fees are as follows:
Dogs: Puppy - 8 yrs: $150.00
Seniors (8+ years): $100.00
Pairs: $200 total
