Jackie's Story...
Jackie was born 9-15-2012. She is a lab mix. She actually looks like a purebred. She should mature around 50 pounds. She is a very personable pup who adores human affection. She is very smart and has already started to grasp the concept of potty training at her early age. She is also crate trained. She is excellent with other dogs and she loves the cats at her foster home. She is laid back but playful when you want her to be. She loves to chase her tennis balls.

Jackie will go to her new home current on all her puppy shots, deworming, microchipped and with a spay voucher. She will also have a certificate of health.

We do require a pre screen application to apply. You can ge that on our main web site at www.saveamuttkennel.info . Please read the faq page while you are there.

Why Adoption is a Great Option

Jackie, a Sussex Labrador Retriever puppy was adopted! Here's how you can benefit by looking at adoption as an option to buying a Labrador Retriever for sale in Sussex, or seeking a Labrador Retriever puppy from a breeder in Sussex.

  1. Rescues and shelter volunteers in Sussex already know the personality and tendencies of their pets. This means they can match you with the right pet. That will makes it much easier transition to owning a pet for yourself and your new pet.
  2. On average adoption fees are much less than you'd pay a Sussex breeder, or pet store. Plus most often rescue pets have already been to the veterinarian for a check-up, had a round of vaccinations, and are spayed or neutered. That is a lot of savings!
  3. You will become a hero, and give a needy dog or cat a loving home. In fact, there are even Labrador Retriever breeders who help with Labrador Retriever rescue. One puppy or kitten adopted in Sussex paves the way for another one to be saved.
