I am already spayed, housetrained, purebred, a special needs pet, up to date with shots, not good with kids, and good with dogs.
Thank you for wanting to adopt a rescued pet. All of our dogs are in a foster home where they are socialized with other dogs and exposed to many different people. We strive to begin house training but in most cases it is a 'work in progress.' If you would like an application, please send an email to firstname.lastname@example.org. All of our pets are spayed/neutered (if old enough), have had as many vaccines as they are old enough for, have had heartworm tests (if old enough) and adults have often had dentals, if needed. Therefore, our adoptions fees vary from one dog to another. Please note that we get no financial assistance other than our adoption fees so in order to keep saving lives, we must ask for an adoption fee to help cover expenses.
Grandma came to us from a high kill shelter. She was part of a hoarding case and had been used for years as a breeder dog. After coming into our rescue, we discovered that she is deaf. She does well and responds to hand signals to come in when she is out in the yard. She is about 10 years old but needs her own home to live out the rest of her life. Please consider an older pet - they make the most loving and appreciative dogs ever.
Adoption fee: $200

We are a small group of volunteers who love dogs and want to find them homes where they can have a wonderful quality of life. Our director has trained dogs for over 10 years and our other officers are foster homes for the dogs in our system. We do not have a facility for people to come to visit our dogs as they are kept in individual homes.
Adoptions are held regularly on Saturdays at PetSmart located at Lawrenceville/Suwanee Road and Hwy 120 from 10:30 until 4:00 pm. On a case by case basis we can make arrangements to meet adopters at other times.
We ask that adopters go online to our webpage and fill our our application. Once we receive it we check it out and notify the potential adopter if they are approved or not (this is usually done within 24 hours unless it is the weekend when we cannot contact the vet's office). For some dogs there can be no children or children over 8 and for some dogs there has to be a fenced in yard. This is addressed on a case by case basis. Our adoptions fees range from $250 to $350 depending on the particular dog. This too is on a case by case basis.
