Gabe's Story...
Meet Gabe! Gabe is a sweet little boy who loves other cats. He was found outside with his siblings (already adopted), scared and cautious of people. After arriving at the clinic he instantly began warming up to the staff and now purrs when he is held and petted. Gabe is still shy at first but with a little care and patience he will melt in your arms. He is about 7 months old and needs a forever home.

He is staying at Care for Animals at 2944 Post Rd, Warwick, RI. He is neutered, vaccinated for rabies and distemper, Feline Leukemia and Feline AIDS tested, and dewormed. If you are Interested in Gabe please email us at careforanimals@verizon.net or call the clinic at 401-739-7387

Why Adoption is a Great Option

Gabe, a Warwick Domestic Shorthair cat was adopted! Here's how you can benefit by looking at adoption as an option to buying a Domestic Shorthair for sale in Warwick, or seeking a Domestic Shorthair cat from a breeder in Warwick.

  1. Rescues and shelter volunteers in Warwick already know the personality and tendencies of their pets. This means they can match you with the right pet. That will makes it much easier transition to owning a pet for yourself and your new pet.
  2. On average adoption fees are much less than you'd pay a Warwick breeder, or pet store. Plus most often rescue pets have already been to the veterinarian for a check-up, had a round of vaccinations, and are spayed or neutered. That is a lot of savings!
  3. You will become a hero, and give a needy dog or cat a loving home. In fact, there are even Domestic Shorthair breeders who help with Domestic Shorthair rescue. One puppy or kitten adopted in Warwick paves the way for another one to be saved.
