Marley's Story...
**Marley is a courtesy post and is not part of Operation Education. If you have any questions about Marley or are interested in making her a part of your family, please contact John at**

Marley's mom was diagnosed with lung cancer a couple of years ago while in her late 20's and moved back in with her parents so they could help with her care, bringing Marley with her. Her parents are not able to provide Marley with a fenced-in yard and know that no dog deserves to live their life on a chain so they are trying to find Marley a new family who can give her the yard they can't. Marley adores people and is as sweet as they come. She is 3 years old and is healthy, spayed, and up-to-date on her rabies vaccine. It would probably be best for Marley to be an only pet. She did get into a tussle with a dog who came into her yard but she was on her chain and that may be why she felt the need to defend herself. Her current family will only rehome her to a family who will let her roam and play and can provide a loving home. Please contact John if you feel that you can offer that for Miss Marley!

Why Adoption is a Great Option

Marley, a Christiana American Pit Bull Terrier dog was adopted! Here's how you can benefit by looking at adoption as an option to buying a American Pit Bull Terrier for sale in Christiana, or seeking a American Pit Bull Terrier dog from a breeder in Christiana.

  1. Rescues and shelter volunteers in Christiana already know the personality and tendencies of their pets. This means they can match you with the right pet. That will makes it much easier transition to owning a pet for yourself and your new pet.
  2. On average adoption fees are much less than you'd pay a Christiana breeder, or pet store. Plus most often rescue pets have already been to the veterinarian for a check-up, had a round of vaccinations, and are spayed or neutered. That is a lot of savings!
  3. You will become a hero, and give a needy dog or cat a loving home. In fact, there are even American Pit Bull Terrier breeders who help with American Pit Bull Terrier rescue. One puppy or kitten adopted in Christiana paves the way for another one to be saved.
