My story

Here's what the humans have to say about me:

Molly is an absolutely stunning girl who is either a Lab/ Plott Hound or Lab/ Greyhound Mix. She is just over a year old and weighs 45 pounds. She was rescued from death row in TN by a rescuer who simply could not stand to see such a beautiful girl be put down. Since then, poor Molly has bounced out of two foster homes and has been in boarding for four months.

Molly is not all that crazy about cats and does not like really small, submissive dogs. Unfortunately, all the rescuers we are connected with in that area have homes with cats and small dogs, so we had to board Molly as our only option. While the vet staff gives her "extra special attention" because they love her so much, she still spends the vast majority of her day in a kennel. Molly is a very athletic girl who needs exercise and the love and affection that comes with a family of her own.

Both of the foster families who had her where absolutely devastated to have to move this precious girl. She is completely housetrained and quickly learned to use a doggie door in her first home. She just LIVES to be patted on the head and you could not ask for a more friendly girl. Molly loves playing with other dogs who are bigger or equal to her size and would do great in a home with other, larger dogs. She did beautifully with children at both of her foster homes. She is not a big barker and is as content as can be when she has a ball to play with.

Molly is up to date on her shots, spayed, heartworm negative and healthy as a horse. She just needs the right home situation to thrive. If you can offer her a home with no cats and no small dogs, please contact us immediately. We are interested in hearing from foster families and permanent families for this little girl.
