Bambi's Story...
Bambi is a great young dog, at 11 months and weighs about 35 lbs. She is fully grown mix that is listed as a boxer but I see a lot of shephered or greyhound features that are not offically on her paperwork. . she has been spayed and probably housebroken as she had a home before. Bambi went to adoption at Petco and was wonderfully behaved. (see picture sitting in volunteers lap) She took treats gently from children and greeted other dogs sociably wanting to play. she is also great on a leash. . She never messed in her cage, did not bark and patiently waited to be walked. . What a find for not only what you get in services, but the ease of adoption. there is a great adoption friendly interaction room you can take your other pet or your family to visit with them. The shelter is at 650 John Howell DRive in Lincolnton, NC. Phone 704 736 4125. If you call you need to give them his shelter ID number. ,It is newly remodeled too. Hours of operation for adopting are 11 to 4:30, Mon-sat. you can adopt the same day, but the shelter does not accept credit cards. For only 85.00 you get the spay or neuter, rabies vaccines, other vaccinatins a worming, a microchip and even 30 days of free insurance. YOu cannot beat such a agreat deal anywhere. don't delay give yourself the best Christmas present this year, give a life to a dog in need. , these dogs dont have forever in this shelter which is forced to euthanize due to pet over population. thanks for looking.

Why Adoption is a Great Option

Bambi, a Lincolnton Boxer/Greyhound dog was adopted! Here's how you can benefit by looking at adoption as an option to buying a Boxer/Greyhound for sale in Lincolnton, or seeking a Boxer/Greyhound dog from a breeder in Lincolnton.

  1. Rescues and shelter volunteers in Lincolnton already know the personality and tendencies of their pets. This means they can match you with the right pet. That will makes it much easier transition to owning a pet for yourself and your new pet.
  2. On average adoption fees are much less than you'd pay a Lincolnton breeder, or pet store. Plus most often rescue pets have already been to the veterinarian for a check-up, had a round of vaccinations, and are spayed or neutered. That is a lot of savings!
  3. You will become a hero, and give a needy dog or cat a loving home. In fact, there are even Boxer/Greyhound breeders who help with Boxer/Greyhound rescue. One puppy or kitten adopted in Lincolnton paves the way for another one to be saved.
