Roscoe's Story...
Roscoe is a male dachshund terrier mix that is very lovable and quiet. He gets along great with the other dogs here and is also very happy hanging out by himself. He came to us from Manchester TN where he was on death row. He is crate trained when kept on a good schedule and should adjust well to becoming fully housebroken. He is a really sweet guy that needs to find his forever home. He is fully vetted HW negative, microchipped and already neutered. If you would like a really laid back dog this is the guy, our application can be found under the contact us tab or call us to make an appointment to meet this special guy. 931-698-0303. An adoption fee of $150 is required which goes toward rescuing another dog from death row.

Why Adoption is a Great Option

Roscoe, a Columbia Dachshund/Terrier (Unknown Type, Small) dog was adopted! Here's how you can benefit by looking at adoption as an option to buying a Dachshund/Terrier (Unknown Type, Small) for sale in Columbia, or seeking a Dachshund/Terrier (Unknown Type, Small) dog from a breeder in Columbia.

  1. Rescues and shelter volunteers in Columbia already know the personality and tendencies of their pets. This means they can match you with the right pet. That will makes it much easier transition to owning a pet for yourself and your new pet.
  2. On average adoption fees are much less than you'd pay a Columbia breeder, or pet store. Plus most often rescue pets have already been to the veterinarian for a check-up, had a round of vaccinations, and are spayed or neutered. That is a lot of savings!
  3. You will become a hero, and give a needy dog or cat a loving home. In fact, there are even Dachshund/Terrier (Unknown Type, Small) breeders who help with Dachshund/Terrier (Unknown Type, Small) rescue. One puppy or kitten adopted in Columbia paves the way for another one to be saved.
